- Create couple time. Even short moments matter — a conversation, a walk, or a shared meal.
- Communicate needs. Tell your partner when you are tired, overwhelmed, or need support.
- Share responsibilities. Parenting is teamwork, not a solo duty.
- Protect intimacy. Emotional closeness is as important as physical intimacy.
- Avoid neglecting yourself. A burnt-out mother struggles to give love.
- Don’t compete for attention. Love for children and love for a spouse are different — not rivals.
